This was the first time Nashville had hosted an NHL outdoor game and true to its musical roots, the event was part hockey game and part music festival with several country music performances during the event. It was an exciting game with an awesome atmosphere, perfect weather, good ice, and abundant intensity by both teams. For Preds fans, everything was great except the result with the back-to-back defending Stanley Cup Champions beating the home team 3-2.
