This panorama spotlights the Houston Texans playing to their home crowd at NRG Stadium.  As a tradition, opening day of each season is deemed Liberty White Out with players and fans wearing all white. NRG Stadium, formerly Reliant Stadium, opened for business in 2002 with a regular season debut against the Dallas Cowboys.  On that day, they unveiled a game day atmosphere that would become a staple of Texans football games.  The first NFL stadium with a retractable roof, NRG Stadium has earned a reputation as one of the premier big-event venues in American sports, hosting international soccer matches, Big 12 Championship games, NCAA Men’s Basketball tournaments, the annual AdvoCare Texas Bowl and Super Bowls.
