At this first game in the Finneran Pavilion, the Wildcats were victorious, defeating the Bears 100-77. The Finneran Pavilion, the new home of Villanova Basketball, was completely transformed through a $65 million donor-funded project. The dramatic renovation celebrates the uniqueness of the old arena, which opened in 1986, while creating an unmatched Division I basketball experience for Villanova players and fans that honors the storied legacy of Villanova Basketball.
